Experimental - painting leaves and rocks

 I am excited to try out acrylic markers this week.

 Combining acrylic paints and fabulous acrlylic markers on leaves and rocks is so much fun. I plan on hosting a neighborhood painting event like the one I had earlier this year where we all painted onto palm fronds.

Learning in the next few months by experimenting..... 

First, collect great leaves and rocks and dry the leaves in the pages of my favorite art books. Then play with the paints and pens. 

                   In an octopus's garden... in the shade. 

      I might as well paint a shell too.........

Art class day finally arrived! Since the weather was not cooperative, I moved the event into my dining room which worked out beautifully with 10 of my wonderful neighbors and friends. I had such a great time working with this creative, fearless group of women.
